About Art Adventures
Our Art Adventures are designed to provide you with a combination of tuition and practical experience in an atmosphere of enjoyable learning.
Unlike our intensive workshops (for information about these visit www.creativeinsightworkshops.com), the Art Adventures focus solely on practice rather than in-depth knowledge and training. This makes the adventures suitable for both complete beginners and those wanting to increase existing skills.
Each five-day adventure runs from 10:00am to 1:30pm Monday-Friday. These easily digested sessions make the adventure accessible to people without the time to commit to a full blown intensive workshop. Also, for people combining the adventure with their normal holiday, there is time to spend with the rest of the family as well as indulging your passion for Art. Drawing For YOU!
Our 'Drawing For YOU!' adventure is specifically designed for people whom want to learn to draw from scratch or improve existing drawing skills. This adventure is designed around a series of practical exercises that are guaranteed to improve your drawing skills. Based on the pioneering work of Dr Betty Edwards, this adventure will open the door to your perceptual mind and drawing skill.

Perception and Colour Mixing
This adventure is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to accurately perceive and then mix colours using paint. The perception of colour is a learnable skill, like riding a bicycle, that can only be obtained through instruction from a good teacher. Just as most of us needed the help and support of a friend or relative to learn to ride a bicycle, so it is with the perception of colour. Once your perceptual mind has been unlocked, with a series of enjoyable but specific exercises, you will notice a vast improvement in your ability to paint any subject.
This adventure is conducted in an atmosphere of exploration and fun as you learn to tap into your colour perception and learn how to mix accurately any colour you have perceived in a subject. [back to top]
