Holidays and Courses

Welcome to our Photography Adventures!

Holiday or Course?

Our photography adventures are holiday courses; meaning you have time for other activities, especially important for your partner! The holiday adventures focus on helping you to achieve successful pictures from a combination of instruction and trips to interesting locations. You will be accompanied by Les Meehan who will answer all your technical and visual questions in a relaxed and genial atmosphere. Think of a holiday adventure as having your own photo professional by your side while you enjoy making pictures.

The photography adventures are structured courses designed to enhance your photography knowledge and practical skills. These adventures are for people that really want to learn and improve their image-making and whom are prepared to put some effort into the taught sessions. The taught sessions are supported by visits to interesting places so that you have the opportunity of applying what you have learnt.

On one of our photography adventures you will receive the best possible tuition delivered by Les Meehan, a highly experienced photographer, writer and teacher, in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere. Les has a very `interactive´ style of teaching and an infectious enthusiasm about photography so you can be certain that everyone will want to be fully involved in the tuition discussions that will take place.

We will then move onto basic lighting and composition which will introduce you to the creative aspects of photography. At each stage of the adventure you will have plenty of practice so the topics being taught can be absorbed naturally into your own method of working.

Alhambra

As part of your adventure we will visit places of interest for you to explore your new found photography skills, with Les helping you all the way of course. In this way, you are sure to make pictures to be proud of and obtain a memorable record of your experience with us at Artistic Adventures.

Les Meehan will provide you with answers to your questions at the right level for your existing photography ability.
