All of our Artistic Adventures are conducted in the beautiful southern Spain region of Andalucia and only 45 min's drive from Malaga airport. Andalucia provides a wealth of natural beauty and history so it is no wonder that this region has been invaded many times over the centuries, and not solely by artists! Towns and Villages
Andalucia is famous for its historic towns and white walled villages. As the largest province of Spain, Andalucia has everything one could want from mountain ranges to sandy beaches. In the towns and villages, you can enjoy the bustle of a traditional morning market or visit places of cultural interest including museums, Moorish fortresses and Roman remains. There are many such villages and small towns within easy reach of your adventure centre. Also within easy reach are the cities of Seville, Granada (Alhambra Gardens), and Cordoba which are full of history and culture. [back to top]
Flora and landscapes to drool over and paint!
The landscape of Andalucia is as varied as the towns and villages ranging from rolling hills scattered with ancient olive trees to mountains with ski resorts (Sierra Nevada) to scorching deserts (Almeria has Europe´s only official desert where the ´spaghetti westerns´ were filmed), and other wonderful natural features; El Torcal, a weathered limestone mountain, is spectacular!
